I am constantly getting unexpected quitting of the 32 bit bridge. Anyone have any insight into this?
I'm on the latest 9 on a 2.8 quad core intel xeon with 10 GB of ram running OS 10.6.8

Your signature stipulates that your Logic version is 9.16, however the current latest version is 9.18... Updating may help.
Have you considered running Logic in 32bit mode?
I am facing this issue occasionally with some plugins, especially when my CPU is highly sollicitated. Also some plugins are more problematic than others...

In 64bit mode you have to deal with the bridge crashing whenever it feels like it. Thats what it does.It usually doesn't hurt anything and if it bothers you, try to use only 64 bit plugins, that helps but does not stop it entirely.

I go 32 bit until I have to go 64. Or I don't use 32 bit plug-ins in 64 bit Logic. One, or the other. It's a real freaking BUMMER!

Thanks for the responses. (I am in fact on 9.1.8).
I guess it's just not very well written to cope with all the various different plug-ins. I suspect the G Force stuff may be giving it the most difficulty...
Running in 32 bit is a bad option since the 64 bit stuff then takes almost twice as much cpu.
