Logic Pro (X) Adaptive limiter changed w/ update

So Logic automatically updated to 10.2.1 when I clicked OK on what I thought was a friendly message telling me that the update was available. Anyway.. I open up the Adaptive limiter in the project and not only does it look different, but where once there were two gain sliders, now there is one knob.. (the output ceiling knob doesn't count; it use to be a field you filled in I think) What I'm pretty sure is missing is the Input Gain control.

I use to bring the input gain up to get it to a place -3 or -5 or how many dbs I wanted of total gain reduction, then I'd crank the output gain until the limiter was crushing things the way I want. Now, as soon as I dial in gain that takes it above 0, the input meters go into the red. I.e. +0.5, +1.3, etc.. and that seems to be the only way to get any limiting. I'm pretty sure I don't want that - though I'm not hearing any distortion.

What gives?
