Logic Pro 9 Automation Sensitivity.

I am automating a vocal, manually using nodes. Let's say I raise a vocal by 2.3dB for a quiet bit, then want to drop it back to the standard fader level for the whole track, in other words, 0. Sometimes Logic lets me do this, but other times it will only allow me to go to 0.1 or 0.2....not the actual figure that I want. I've tried zooming into to the automation with no success. :

Reason: The resolution of the automation is higher than the graphics/mouse resolution can handle.

For fine tuning hold down the ctrl key while you move a node.
