Batch convert from 32 bit in Soundtrack Pro

A client has given me files recorded in Sonar to mix that are all 32 bit and Logic will not read them.
Soundtrack Pro will, but I don't know it well enough to figure out how to batch process multiple files in one go???

    Suggestions would greatly appreciated!

Well, that's a good question. To make a long story short, you should be able to get this to work by bringing all files into an STP multi-track project and then do Export. Under Exported Items select All Tracks. They'll be converted to your bit depth and sample rate settings, but they'll probably also end up the length of the longest file....

The length is not an issue, I can always trim them Logic.
Do the audio files have to be on a track? I can't seem to do a select all in the bin, which means I can't export from there or drag them all at once to tracks.

    Thanks for your reply Doug!

You'll need to put each file on its own track. Alas, I think you'll need to drag EACH one onto its own track as well. Hope you don't have too many. The good news is all can be exported at one go.

BTW, it may be possible to create a Droplet (AppleScript?) outside of STP to do a batch conversion. I haven't really ever needed o do this. Someone else on the forum can perhaps advise on that.
