Can Behringer BCF2000 control MOTU Cuemix?

Those of you using MOTU hardware will probably know how handy Cuemix is for delivering latency-free monitoring. MOTU documentation says Mackie Control will control Cuemix, and Behringer say that BCF2000 can emulate Mackie Control.
But I can't get it to work. Anyone else had better luck?

To get it working you have to set BCF in one of the internal modes and connect it directly with Midi Cables to the MOTU hardware... this should work.

    Using BCF2000 with CueMix

OK, this is a partial solution for using the BCF2000 with CueMix. Still working on a better complete solution.
    1. Boot the BCF2000 in baby HUI mode (Press the fifth button from left, just under the pan pots, during Power Up, Wait for "bhuI" in the display. Power down and up again.)
    2. Open the OS X Audio-MIDI utility (Applications / Utilities). The BCF automatically appears in the Midi window.
    3. Create a new device and set it to Mackie as manufacturer and HUI as model.
    4. Attach the entry and exit of this new device to BCF2000 MIDI device by dragging from the arrows on one device to the corresponding arrows on the other.
    5. Open Cuemix. Go to Control Surfaces - CueMix Control Surfaces - Configure. The Mackie device you created should show up here. Select it.
    6. Restart Cuemix. You should get full two-directional fader control and pan control.
    7. Unfortunately, the other buttons don't seem to work. Still working on this!

Thanks for that reply. I had got some of the way on his, but the need to flick between banks of 8 and move around the virtual mixer still seems to be beyond the Behringer. I guess you get what you pay for.

I kind of have an interest in this since I have LC Xmu users running DP, but unfortunately CueMix doesn't yet support virtual ports.

Needing Baby HUI emulation seems odd, that should only be necessary for ProTools. Does booting the BCF in Mackie Control mode (Cubase or Logic version, shouldn't matter) not work? Bank left/right buttons in MC mode (whatever those are mapped to in Behringer's emulation) should work.
