Chopping and exporting chopps

    hey guys i know how to chop in logic but how would i go about exporting a number of chops at once as wave files for importing to my mpc2000xl and also if theres a way will each chop have its own name?:D

    Hi there,

    If I understand you correctly, you have a bunch of regions (chops) in the arrange window that you would like to convert to individual files.

    If so, this is pretty simple. And this is for Logic 8, although the procedure in Logic 7 is pretty similar. First, select the regions you would like to convert in the arrange window.

    Second, from the "Audio" menu right at the top of the Arrange window, choose "Convert Regions to New Audio Files" or "Option+Command+F" keys. A dialogue box will open with the number of regions you are saving, where to put them, and what format, etc.
