My Complete Composer Collection Hard drive from east west is not loading on my macbook pro. I keep getting the message ' the disk was not ejected properly, if possible always eject disk before unplugging it or turning it off" , and when I click ok, the message goes away but the hard drive does not load. I tried switching off the computer and hard drive and restarting them but I still get the same message and again when I click ok, the message goes away but the hard drive is not recognized and does not load on the computer. I am not sure why this message came because I normally eject the hard drive before switching off.

Any help /suggestions would be much appreciated as I am in the middle of a project and am completely stressed out,

Sorry I don't know the the answer to curing the problem, but if I was in the middle of an important project, I'd just copy everything over to a drive that did work. (While waiting for the terribly slow tech and in my experience useless tech support from east West)

Thanks Peter, it seems to be some hard drive partition error, I think I'll get it repaired by someone who knows more about that stuff than I do, maybe send it back to the company, will check with them.

Sorry, I realised the stupidity of my post, if you can't access the drive, then you can't get the samples off. But i would get some expert help as son as possible to try to do that, then send it back if its under a warrantee.

A while back I was considering the CCC, but I'm sorry to say the tech support I've had so far from east West is not very good so I in the end I didn't, but the stuff does look very good if you get it working.

Does it show up in Disk Utility? Does it show up in under USB in About This Mac > More Info?
