The good news is that EuControl 1.3.0 is out, and claims that it addresses many of the bugs and issues with the controllers.

The bad news is that there is an incompatibility between the latest version of the Euphonix MC Artist drivers and Mac OS X 10.5.7. Apparently the MC Artist controllers can no longer be detected by the EuControl software in Mac OS X 10.5.7. Both companies are looking into it.

Yup, a neighbour of mine just posted about this on

He reverted back to 10.5.6, he couldn't get his MC Artist units to be recognized in 10.5.7. Funny, he didn't mention 1.3.0, perhaps the incompatibility is not just between 10.5.7 and EuControl 1.3.0 - I'll see what I can find out.

    - and I am glad to say, working here with 10.5.7.

I just installed 1.3.1, it was OK with both MIO Console and Logic running in 10.5.6, so I installed 10.5.7 from the combo updater, MIO console and Logic are still working with EUControl.

Fast work on the part of Euphonix :)

    kind regards
