Can anyone give me some hints as to how to turn a wave file that I have created in logic into a usable instrument for the sampler... (i.e. I have created a vocal phrase that I would like to be able to manipulate and play back at different speeds at different pitches on different keys using my controller keyboard in Logic to creating music track for some puppet shows... (yes I am new at this)...

The easiest way is to place the region on an Arrange Window track, then go to the local Audio menu and choose "Convert Regions To New Sampler Track". There will be a couple of prompts after that asking you if you want to split the region by transients and which note you want as the root pitch. And you're done!

Thanks... Again, this new to me...but sounds easy enough that even an old tape /razor and block person (i.e. pre-digital world) should be able to get it.
