Logic Pro 9 filter problem

hey
so i had 2 tracks with different filters on each one raising over 8 measures. after i deleted a few bars earlier in the song, the filters seem to reset after about 30 beats. ive tried recording onto different tracks and recording the parts in a different area of the arrange window and dragging them into place but nothing seems to be working. any ideas?

If you created the filters modulation with the Automation, chances are that modulation is still on that track. Automation could be part of the track (independant of the region populating the track itself) or the Automation could be moved to become part of the region. In the last case (automation in region) if you delete or move the region, the Automation follows the region. In the Preferences/Automation you could set Logic to warn you about the Automation when handling regions.
