    Hi forum

I'd like to track a guitar with distortion (plug-in). So far I've only managed to add effects after recording, i.e. during playback. Is it possible to activate effects while recording?

    Yes. There are several ways.

The simplest is to just put the plug-ins on your record enabled track. That way you will monitor with effects while recording.

If you want to print the effects as well, place them on an Input object in the Environmentthat corresponds to the inout your are tracking with.

Third way: set up the effects on an Aux track hosting the Input. Then any record enabled channel with that input assigned will be able to be monitored with the effects.
