I use logic 9 express with mac el capitan. I am trying to humanize a midi drum track I created by editing a green apple loop. I go to the piano roll, functions, transform, then humanize. After getting the settings right, I click "select and operate". All notes change color, and there is no longer any sound coming through when I play the track. I clicked elsewhere in the piano roll field to undo highlighting and color of the events, and still no sound. Edit undo transform gets them back. Would someone please tell me how to humanize (randomize) velocity and timing. At one time this feature worked for me when I had an earlier osx.
