Logic Pro 9 Loading channel strips

Hi Guys,

I am fine with copying a pasting channel strips but I just can't seem to load them. Any ideas? eg I have a channel strip I've saved and want to load that into a channel strip. But when I browse to it in library its greyed out?

Are you sure you have the same KIND of channel strip type selected?

For example, you can't open an instrument channel strip on an audio track, or an audio track on an aux track.

Hold down option while selecting a setting, and you'll get access to all Channel Strip settings.
