Is there a place in Logic Help or in other, where Logic gives the correct + - db level output that has been pre programed in Logic?

many thanks

Logic uses Peak meters.
A -20dBFS pink noise file will show up as -17 dBFS (peak) on the output meter.

You can insert a Level meter and select Peak&RMS in the pop-up, or insert a Multimeter which will give you -20dBFS on the RMS scale.

Thank you for your reply.
Let me rephrase my question.
When Logic audio level output reads + - 0db, is it a true 0 db or more?

OdB on the Logic peak meter is OdBFS.
The RMS value (light blue) is -3dB below peak when using a test file.

Metering musical content will indicate a wider, variable gap between peak and RMS.

Hope this helps.
