Logic X LPX voodoo. Creating duplicate track converts unconnected track to new instrument??

I've become accustomed to LPX's various types of weird behaviour, since first starting to test it out about a year ago.

However, this one is a peach.

It is reliably reproducible in this particular project. I made a short video of it actually happening.

I would appreciate it if someone, preferably with the same instruments as I'm using here, could try to reproduce this?

K5 (Capriccio Strings) on one track - inside a Track Stack
MachFive3 on another track - not inside the TS
Create duplicate of the K5 track
End up with the duplicate as expected, but the track is named after the M53 track
And the kicker - the original M53 track now has it's instrument changed to K5 Capriccio Strings, whilst the original M53 instance has completely disappeared.

    It's all in this short video - 6MB. X Voodoo Shit.mp4?dl=0

I'm unable to replicate your issue and have no explanation for why you're experiencing it.

I have K5 in a summing stack with Session Strings.
Mach5v3 loaded with a piano is inserted in a track outside of the summing stack.

The K5 track is selected, and duplicated within the summing stack. The result is instrument 4 which contains Session Strings.
This has no impact on Mach5v3. K5.png?dl=0

Is this only happening with the current project?
What if you started with a new Empty project?
