Has anyone heard if future versions of logic are slated include the facility to export files as music-xml, instead of just midi 1 or midi 0 type files?
I've pushed Logic as far as it can go and orchestrators in my industry (musical theater) work in Finale and to a lesser extent, Sibelius.

Those who might know can't say, I'm sure. Apple does not announce feature updates is advance.

You might consider looking at this:

It's not perfect, but people have found it good enough to use it to convert Logic projects over to Sibelius and Finale. At one time it worked better in one program, don't remember which.

thanks very much! - tried it and it seems to work very well. It will be worth the $199. Finale seems more mxl friendly than Sibelius, btw, both exporting and importing it.
