Logic Studio apps Problem loading AU plugins

Hello, I am new to Mainstage and I am having a small issue. I have some NI instruments that are definitely showing up in the AU Preferences as being successfully validated. However, when I go to use one of these instruments they do not show up as an option in my Channel strips when I attempt to create a new software instrument. I also have a full AMG jam pack on the computer that logic, garage band, and mainstage will not find either. I'm sure the two have to be related in some way.

Two things to make sure are:

1) That you're looking in the right place. On the I/O slot, click on Input, then select AU Instruments at the bottom of the list. You should see a list of all the manufacturers of your AU instruments. From there, you should see Native Instruments.

2) Many Native Instruments synths only come with Stereo AU plug-ins, so make sure you are not using a Mono instrument channel in MainStage.
