Send Panning to Stereo Aux (I'm a noob)

Hey guys! How's it going, this is my first post in this forum because I'm fairly new to Logic, but have roots in Pro Tools. Wondering if I could get a quick tip...

So I have four separate guitar tracks that I have panned in a stereo field. They worked just fine when I sent them straight to the Mixdown, but because I don't want to waste a bunch of CPU copying insert channels on each of the tracks I bussed them out to a stereo Aux. However, when I listened to the aux send, it dummed them down to mono! I have tried the Post Pan and Post fader options and sent decent signal to the send, but to no avail. I never had this problem in Pro Tools. Any help?

    Hi Spencer,

Just to rule out the obvious, are you sure the Aux track you are using to host the Bus send is a stereo Aux track? I ask because, under certain conditions, Logic creates mono Aux tracks by default. It's a simple thing to correct. Just click on the track format icon on the Aux channel strip (either a single circle or interlinked circles) to toggle the channel strip between mono and stereo.

Yep! The Bus is toggled to stereo.

I just don't get why a stereo aux would overlook the original track pan location. There's gotta be a way to do this.... it just seems illogical (pun intended) not to.

Hmmm I AM however using amp sims on the track, but either way I should still be able to send all tracks to a bus so that I don't have to copy the insert 1293848975 times.

    I figured out why...

I am using Lepou plugins for the amp sims, and all the amps released for the Mac so far have been in mono :/
