Back in 2007, when I switched from DP (6 maybe?) to Logic 8, one reason was that it seemed to me that the audio sounded a little better.

Between L8 and L9, I didn't hear a difference. When I ran LX for the first time, I was a bit startled when I pulled up some audio. It sounded more open.

I know this could simply be a psychological phenomenon, but I wonder if they messed with the audio engine?

There are folks on various sites saying they have not, and those who insist that the audio engine was upgraded.

I freely admit that this could be "wishful hearing" on my part. Anyone know?
