Pretty new logic user coming from Pro Tools and wondering if you can help with something.
I am using logic pro version 9 on an imac. All going well bar the fact I am getting audible splats when editing with scissor tool. I take it this is a preference setting but cant seem to see anything. You help would be most welcome

There is a "snap edits to zero crossing"
It's at the top of the arrange page under "Audio"...should be a check in front of it

Many thanks for getting back to me, and yes that seems to have solved the problem. But I take that is a change on every session I would need to make to avoid splats off 0 crossing?
I edit daily with Pro Tools and found it odd thing to hear all your edits. Yet every DAW is different in its own way.
    Many thanks again

I probably get alittle "carried away", but I always go and put unique fade-ins(fade-outs) at the beginning and ending of every cut region.
I know this isn't practical for every one though.

You may want to learn about the Strip Silence in logic 9(google search?)
This may or may not help you...But it is a powerful feature nevertheless
    Happy chopping
