Logic Pro (X) time stretch isn't working as expected

I was trying to stretch a guitar note as shown in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArEPtQ9tQfA but instead of stretching, it seems to reveal the trimmed bit. You can see before and after stretch pics below.

Thanks Eli,
In fact, I tried that. It must have been late or I'm just too stupid. What fooled me was the waveform picture looks like it doesn't change and it appears there is no sound after a point. The sound does go on though. I took some screen shots. You can see what I mean. It sounds right though.
Thank you.

Quite possibly one of LP X's many graphic glitches :-(

What happens if you redraw the screenset? Does it redraw correctly?

Just call up the screenset that you are already on again by pressing the corresponding number on your keyboard. Or, go to another screenset, and then go back.

Bringing up other windows doesn't redraw it in my case. I tried closing the Main window and reopening it, but I hate doing that. Every time I do that, it moves the main window to a second monitor and gets rid of the view I had, so I have to go back into Customize Control Bar again. (I like to have the locator values visible).
Anyway, the sound is right. I hope they fix that because looking at it is disconcerting.
Thanks again
