Maybe this is due to some routing issue from old code remnants, but I constantly wish I could side chain directly to an instrument track. Instead we currently have to send the output of the instrument track to a bus input just so we can side chain to the signal. It seems silly, we can side chain to an audio track and any kind of aux track, but no virtual instrument tracks. This agitates me a lot, because it is an issue on every single production I work with.
