Logic Pro 9 RND plugins

Does anybody know what´s going on there, many of us have them and have used them a lot and now they may disappear or what....

BTW I just went to Audioeases website and it wasn't running, hopefully it's not more of the same.

Yes, there appears to be some problems with RND:

I just had a look, their site is up, running and looking quite healthy. I presume they are at the moment attending the NAMM.

Mind you, the Elemental Audio Plugins I use all still work fine in Logic Pro 9.1:

Eqium, Firium, Neodymium and the IXL Metering Plugins.

Audio Ease is in excellent shape. Marketing and support is here in Anaheim, California for the NAMM show, so if there was a web glitch, it might have taken a bit longer to get fixed. But that's no reflection at all on company health.

Audio Ease has been showing previews of AltiVerb 7 (phenomenal, both looking and sounding) and Snapper 2 (fantastic new Logic integration) that will be out later in 2010. Excellent stuff, solid company, and a great group of guys! :thmbup:

Yes the Audioease works again, I thought it would. It was just that it was down about the time when I started the thread.
Too bad about RND but I'm happy to know that they work in 9.1 because it will take me a while to phase them completely out. I have more and more used Sonorus during the last year but the older stuff is packed with them.

This is an old website from the first desaster, as Nichols and Probst fighted. No need to look for the newer site, it vanished after the second desaster as the rest of the company fighted. Out of business.

Plugins are still running.

They're working? How I miss Inspector XL!! I own all Elemental plugs, but haven't installed them since I switched to intel... Thought they were lost.. I tried to copy them from my g5 but it seems I have the PPC-version.. I know it's a very very long shot, but is there any place I can download a ub version? I have the authorizer files, so it's just a matter of a UBversion.

Ah, thanks Orren. I am at NAMM for iRompler (mostly lurking with Garth at ChickenSys) but missed this significant fact when looking at the Audioease booth. Excellent.

on gearslutz I spotted this post.
In order to help users who were struck by the recent RND deseaster I quote it here:

the link to the following RNDigital software was the official place where you downloaded your RNDigital installers since RND existed.
But since the Frontend of RND is down this link provides the backend access to the Installers.

I have the final UB versions of EAS installers for Inspector XL, Finis, Firium, Neodynium, and Eqium.

Of course, they're no good unless you have valid authorization information.

Of all of them, Inspector XL is the one I use constantly.

On a side note, the metering available in Logic covers the most frequently used components of Inspector XL. And Logic's Match Eq covers that functionality provided by Firium.

I made the switch to RND during the very confusing, uneasy transitional period. But to be fair, RND was very good to work with. I received RND versions of my EAS stuff at no cost, and the upgrades kept coming without any additional costs.

At one point I thought about buying Detailer but never got around to it. Maybe someone will pick up the pieces to bring these plug-ins back to life.

I have the RND installers for the above but they're iLok authorization.

Unfortunately there is no substitute for Neodynium (Dynamizer) from any company. Or is there something I don't know?

I haven't seen anything like it out there.

Some might say that a dynamic eq such as Powercore's Dynamic EQ might serve a similar purpose. But that's not my debate.
