Hi all,

Is it possible to record-enable all tracks in a multi-track recording project without putting them in a folder?

Example: 16 Audio Tracks ( different inputs ) modifier key + click on record enable button?

Absolutely:
  1. Assign all 16 tracks to the same Group
  2. Check the "Record" button in the Group Settings dialog.

You can also select them all in environment and click record on just one but I use the grouping as well which works perfectly

In Logic Pro 9, where is the group selection or command? In other words, How does one create a group? I've looked everywhere... searched in Help.... nothing...

On the channels themselves, below the output rectangle, you'll find another, kinda dark grey rectangle. By default it displays nothing, but when you click into it, the group selection menu shows up. Select a group and a floating window with group options should pop up. Explore it and set things accordingly to your needs. You can select mutliple channels and click into one of the group rectangles, that will set the same group for all. When the group float window is closed but you'd like to change a thing in the group settings, click into the rectangle again, all the way up in the pulldown menu you'll find an entry for the group settings.

Sascha Thank You SO MUCH! This is exactly the kind of detail I haven't been able to find. This will enable me to get the full use of Logic Pro 9 in a very powerful way. So appreciate this!
