Logic Pro 8 Mapping LFO Rate to Knob

Hello, im using ES2 in logic studio 8 and am trying to map the Lfo 2 Rate to a Korg Kontrol knob. Im a little new to the midi/usb controller mapping. Any help would be much appreciated

The magic function is called "Controller Assignments".

Basically you switch to Learn Mode, move the software knob on screen, then the hardware knob and afterwards disable Learn Mode. Do this in expert view, otherwise you cannot see what actually happens and if it is ok.

But where do i find expert view?

So far ive opened ES2, clicked on midi in the left corner, and attempted to map it with the learn button...no dice. I really appreciate the help!

You are going to work with the Controller Assignments Panel.
Logic Pro -> Preferences -> Control Surfaces -> Controller Assignments ...

Got it to work, and it works great! But the sensitivity of the knob is very high..am i able to control this?
