Hello
Im sorry if this is a stupid question but I have been googling like a maniac all day and have yet to find a clear solution.
I am running Logic 9 on a macbook.
I want to get a song into Logic and chop it up and rebuild it, a reedit if you will, but this could apply to any sample I wanted to use and clean up.
I am a little unsure how to do this, do I import the song straight into the EX sampler or chop the song into samples on the audio track, I have been trying various methods, I can isolate the part of the song I want to use as a sample in the sample editor but cant put it into an audio track.
I use to use Cool Edit Pro to chop a song into samples before importing them but I dont have Cool Edit any more and presume you can do a similar thing in Logic.
Hopefully that makes sense.
Thanks
