Logic Pro (X) Logic Pro X 10.0.5

I'm pleased to see the Link button back in Piano Roll.

I've just sent a request to get it back in the Event window as well. If you agree, please ask for it - the more requests the better.

I still have a problem in 10.0.5: When I change screensets, the windows often are not arranged as they should be. Rather, they all get squashed up top left. Does anyone else have this?

I use screen sets a lot and don't have that issue but usually I don't have that many windows open at the same time.
I do however have a really strange one where the mixer doesn't have any objects to the far right when I go there by using a key command (arrow R). The area is simply empty. If I go back (using L) and then right again they are back. This doesn't happen when I use the mouse to go there. It's not new but it's still there.

Channels always in "REC" mode in 10.0.5?

 Since updating to Logic X 10.0.5, all audio tracks appear to be in permanent "REC" mode. I use a Mackie MCU Pro with Logic X and no matter which track I "Select" to edit, the "REC" button lights up on the Mackie MCU Pro and when you press the "REC" button to deselect it the message comes up stating "No Input Source Selected". Press it again and the message goes away but the "REC" light is still "ON". Even if you choose an input option you still can't take it out of "REC" mode. It is always ON with which ever track is selected. I reinstalled Logic X 10.0.4, having saved the ".app" file before updating, and everything is working fine again. Guess I'll wait for the next update and see what happens then.

Before I download the update just a simple question. If you click Update in the App Store, does that download the installer, and nothing else, or does it immediately and automatically install after the download?

Thanks, cheers, Bob.

It immediately installs.

anyone know how to get it to stop asking me to download additional content? i don't recall having to turn that off before

anyone? it's driving me mad. :eeek:

the additional content is essential to use the new drummers. I guess you could avoid the download message if you disconnect from the internet.

FWIW I downloaded it once (I think it took me 30 minutes) and I've not gotten the message since.

From logicprohelp forum:

What did it for me was to delete the "z01 Producer Kits" in /Library/Application Support/Logic/Patches/Instrument/Drum Kit/, then download the content again. After that I restarted and the "Outdated" business disappeared.
