Think I've found a repeatable bug in the Transform window.
From the Matrix (Piano Roll) window select all notes... then in Options/Transform/Velocity Limiter... drag on the number... crash very repeatable on my system. Can anyone confirm this...
Agree with everything above... track pad is certainly helping the wrist pain... especially the tap instead of click.

used flex on an a factory apple loop of some sax phrases, was great to be able to change a repeated loop into something total different. then after inserting a tempo change after the loops.... the all dropped in pitch??? no key change inserted, it also effected a couple of third party sax loops...
Don't know if this bug was in LP8, but in LP9 I've been hair tearing over some long samples in exs just cutting out. There is a fix, if you own Redmatica's excellent Keymap editor... simply make sure that you have the exs "options/open in external editor" set to Keymap, then sen the offending...
I'm looking at purchasing Omnisphere, and I wonder if any users can enlighten me as to it's performance within Logic 9.

Hi Eli... AFAIK it's not related to the marquee tool, only seems to happen when Logic or Exs is maxed out near to it's 3.5 to 4 gig limit ( I have "Menu Meters" running)
I've experienced this same behaviour since LP8... I've always assumed it a low memory bug as it only seemed to happen with large complex projects, it's happened quite a bit in 9.
