Logic Pro 10.3.2 update issue

Hello, maybe someone here can help. I got an App Store message -update available and I clicked ok. It turned out it was Logic 10.3.2. I started it and it hasn't got any sound, it's mute. All instruments are going plus all plug-ins too. Logic 10.3.2 does start and runs but with no sound and no instruments. This perplexed me. I don't know what it is. I had no security of the previous version saved. I have Logic 9 and it's playing normal and everything is normal on the computer. Is anyone here able to have a clue or suggestion on what to do to try to reconnect Logic to all things? I run OS 10.11.6 on a MacBook pro 2.66, 8Gb. Would be thankful for any ideas and suggestions.

Hello,
Here are some basic troubleshooting steps thay may provide more information on why you're having this issue:
1. Is the Master fader volume turned all the way down?
2. Open a new Empty project template. Open the Loop browser. Click on a blue or green loop. Do you see a speaker icon and hear sound?
3. Logic Preferences>Audio>Devices: Uncheck Core Audio Enabled, then check it on.
4. Do you hear sound if you change the audio output to Built-In Output?

Hello CSeye, option #3 fixed it all. The Core Audio showed "Enabled" but the ticked box sign v on the side was gone. It come back and everything works. I did not expect that. Earlier when I started, I could only choose External MIDI all other was dimmed. I could only start old projects mute. The loop browser was empty, no instruments and no plug-ins. That was an amazing help. That little thing, one click.. and you found it. I'm more than more than grateful. Brilliant CSeye!
