Logic Pro 2 ending symbol appearing on all staves

So, this was looking fine...2nd ending symbol just appeared on the top staff where I wanted it to be. This is a SATB score. I don't know what I did, but now I can't get the 2nd ending symbol to just show up over the top staff. At the same time this occured, the bar lines changed from being connected to all the staves, to each staff having a separate bar line. I don't know which way is "correct" but I'd like to know what I did to make this happen. Here's the screen shot. Thanks in advance. I'll keep trying to figure out what I did.

I was able to have the 2nd ending appear on just the 1st staff, by inputting it in the score section of the main window. And again all the bar lines are connected...one barline going through the 4 staves. If someone can explain this to me, that would be wonderful.

Pete, thanks for the info. I played around with the score set and discovered that the only way I could have the 2nd ending appear just over the top staff is to use the single verticle line option within the score set. If I choose the bracket, the 2nd ending appears on each staff.
