Just wondering if there is an optimal way to link 3 x 2882 boxes for 24 lines in and out. Running a MacPro '08 and have a PCIexp firewire card also installed with three ports. Is it possible to have each box plugged directly in and still create an aggregate device and do you need to chain each 2882 off each other?

You need to create an aggregate so that Logic will see all three interfaces, but the FW cabling doesn't matter. You can daisy chain them or home run each to your Mac Pro.
