Just acquired a Macbook Pro and copied over 9.0.0 from an ext hard drive. It wouldn't work so a quick forum browse told me to update to 9.1.5. I did this via software update but it still won't open. I get this error:

Any ideas how to solve this? I can't reinstall as a mate let me have his version from his own external hard drive. Any solution not involving reinstalling from dvd would be massively appreciated...I have read i should downgrade to SL but that just seems ridiculous.

Any ideas how to solve this? I can't reinstall as a mate let me have his version from his own external hard drive. Any solution not involving reinstalling from dvd would be massively appreciated...I have read i should downgrade to SL but that just seems ridiculous.
