Logic Pro 9 Adjusting Velocity PER each midi note??

Hey guys! Glad to be here 😛) I am trying to adjust the velocity/or volume for each midi note I have recorded. Now I know how to adjust each volume, but I am looking for an option to FADE each note. I am writing a score and the string sound created needs each note to fade in on a 1/2 note and then drop silent, then the next note follows suite. Then i'd like to add reverb to the channel so they ring out, even when the drop out. ANY help would be huge!

Is this with EXS24?

Have you tried lengthening the attack velocity?

no but you got me on the right track! It was tra String Ens tremelo... I adjusted the velocity and it worked! thank you o much!
