Logic Pro 9 after recording wave file is imported late

I have been using logic for a while now but recently when i record audio the file is put in to logic late. Does anyone have an answer for this?

Buffer size to big? Prefrences>Audio> I/O buffer size 256 or less for recording, turn it up later...

Latency inducing plug-ins in your signal chain somewhere? (Ad Limiter, Multipressor, Linear phase EQ, etc)

Have you changed your recording delay setting?

Preferences>Audio>Devices>Core Audio>Recording Delay
