Another dumb question

Hello, Allen...

Well, your sale worked -- I just ordered a ULN-8 from Vintage King, and want to get the cabling right.
Am I correct in thinking that the unit can output a 'headphone mix' from the Line/Monitor Out' to multiple pairs of headphones? If so, can I also assume that what I need to accomplish this is a DB25 to TRS female cable?

In watching the "Introduction to ULN-8" tutorial, it's mentioned that 'up to four headphones' can be driven... or words to that effect. So, that would mean that there's no point in having any more than 4 TRS female connectors on that DB25 cable?

If so, what might be the most useful way to use the extra 4 channels on the DB25 cable?

Obviously, I"m a total newbie, so I hope the questions make sense.

Thanks very much...

Yes and yes.

Since there are eight analog outputs, you can drive four stereo headphones (two channels per headphone) or eight mono. So if you're creating stereo mixes, there will only be four TRS connectors.
