Any 1 used logic on a mini mac?

I'm thinking about buying a mac and a mini mac would be a good ebtry level
for me (price wise) + I like the size as it can be mobile,

Has anyone used a mini mac with logic? did run ok?
 
I'm wondering about this as well... I am currently running on a dual G4 1.25 GHz, and I need to upgrade to an Intel mac. Will a mac mini handle things well, or should I save my money for a faster and more expandable machine?

With the prices the way they are these days, I'm sorely tempted to go PC... I think Logic is the only reason I don't. For now.

Note that from the late-2009 Mac-mini's onward, they can take (and use) 8Gb of ram, not the 'official' 4Gb Apple advertises. Useful for an environment like Logic. Also, both display ports are simultaneously active (you prolly knew that, right?) so you can drive dual displays. Wish I could tell you about my Logic experience on a Mac-mini, but I've only just unboxed and installed it.
 
I've been using Logic on a Mac Mini for several years now. Feels just a quick as my G5 dual 1.8ghz tower was. When that machine died (logicboard $700 repair) I decided to never buy an expensive tower again.
Every three years I buy a new mini w/ apple care. :D
 
Not to mention that we should be able to *add* cpu's (like more Mac minis) and have them available as nodes for Logic to use. (Is this working now? A few years ago it was buggy) I would love to know that, by simply adding a few minis, I could achieve monster processing/plugin/track counts beyond what I already am!
 
Great Idea XMIINC, you can use multiple computers w Vienna Ensemble Pro. 'Works w 3rd party plug ins too apparently. I've not used it yet but thats what the ad says. Check it out. Logic node only works for Logic proprietary plugins not 3rd party ones. PLUS, VE says an additional license isnt necessary to run on that external system. Looks pretty promising for cheap guys like us. I plan to buy a mini or a crazy fast PC to use as an external processor for my G5. Looks like a promising option.
