Apogee

Hi evrybody,

I was wondering if it makes a real difference to switch to an apogee system and with a worldclock??I mean do you rallu get a better sound?
I have 2 motu 2408mk3.

In a word: YES. I've been using MOTU stuff for over 10 years. This year I replaced my motu hd 192 with an Apogee AD16X. Much better. Like a few other things I've done in my career that helped my sound, I wish I would had done it earlier. Things are warmer sounding now, clear and the high end isn't "scratchy" or brittle as before. I'm also using great mics and mic pres and am in a well designed and tuned control room. If you're looking to spend $ though and want to improve your sound, the best thing you can do is to treat your room by proper bass trapping.
