Logic Pro Archiving Space Designer IRs with project doesn't work

I'm about to ship off a project to a friend where I only used Logic plugins and want to save the Space Designer Impulse responses with the project. For some reason, this feature doesn't seem to be working. I have the proper preferences for the project selected and have also tried "consolidating" while having having Space Designer checked with no luck. I have an empty Impulse Response folder within the project. Any suggestions? Running Logic 10.2 and Mac 10. 10.4

I just tried it and it worked fine here. i used a third party IR though. I suspect that maybe the Asset function ignores the main Library assets that ship with Logic; as a means of not duplicating assets unnecessarily?

Thanks for trying Eli. I'm also using 3rd party IRs but they're stored and accessed in my main library. Can you try it with a normal built in IR if you have time in between your dozen or so awesome groove3 videos you're working on?🙂

I just tried putting the 3rd party IR on the desktop and then loading it in that way. This time Logic put it in the Project's Impulse Response folder....Seems clunky and unintuitive but I guess that's the workaround. I never share projects so this is all a part of the learning curve.

Just tried it with one of the stock LPX IRs and it didn't work. I'm not surprised. If memory serves, I believe this is the same with Apple loops and EXS 24 instruments. It only copies the assets if they are from outside of the factory library.

Why not just move your third party IRs to your User folder? It's safer anyway, since it's possible they could be overwritten when the Factory folder gets updated with future LPX updates and installs.

They can be put anywhere. I manually created a separate folder for third party IRs and keep it here:

User --> Music --> Audio Music Apps --> Third Party IRs
