Logic Pro 9 Audio Regions in Event List?

It's not as simple.. you have to open the event editor from the top level of the arrange page. You will see all regions from there. No you can not select an audio track and edit the regions (at least not as far as I've ever know, but on this one I would LOVE to be proven wrong ;-)

George, I assume you mean the Event List in the "Lists" view which opens to the right? That is exactly where I would like to see the events.
The behavior here is very inconsistent. Sometimes the events appear, otherwise the list is blank. Flipping it open and closed, selecting and unselecting regions or folders a few times will get the events to appear, and then next time with the same region or folder - nothing. This is even happening with MIDI events.
I thought the project might be corrupt, so I opened a couple other projects - same problem. Any suggestions on how to rectify this?
I certainly do hope it's possible to see all the audio regions from just one track. Why would it not be? Sometimes Logic seems far from logical.

You won't be able to view only the events on one track. The event list displays ... well... all events. However, all regions on a track will be show in a dark grey highlight when a track is selected, so you can see what's on a track.
Regarding your intermittent problem:
Have you tried switching off the link button (the little chain icon) top left of the Event list?
There are 3 modes - No Link, Same Level Link, and Content Link. (see the Logic 9 manual p104)
You might be in Content mode (yellow icon) in which case audio regions would generally be blank.
As was mentioned above, get to the top level and all your regions should display, both MIDI and audio.
What version of Logic are you using?

Jon, great workaround, not quite what I had in mind. I would have to take every track and place it in a folder of it's own to reproduce the way a midi region works... It does work as long as the audio regions are in a folder...
So it's a 50% solution. Now if Apple would take it the next 50% of the way. I always wondered why they never did the edit view the same way for both midi and audio... seems Logical to me, no pun intended.

I have my Arrange screenset #1 Event List Link Window set to purple or Same Level Link so that it shows regions in the arrange window.
This is a bit off topic, but I've noticed that each screen set will honor editors that are not initially visible. So SS#1 has the Event List set to purple, but it's not visible in the locked SS until I hit E. In SS#3 through 5 which are set up for MIDI editing, the Event List Link Windows are yellow or Content Link. Again, the Event List is not open when selecting one of these screensets.
This really helps to keep the number of screensets low by having all of the tucked-away editors set up as needed per ss.

It's the latest Logic version (9.1.1) on the latest OSX Snow Leopard with all updates installed. Mac Pro 2008 8-core 2.8GHz.
Thank you for the suggestions, but nothing really helps! I can't get audio regions to show up at all now in the Events list, no matter how I set the Link button! I just tried opening up a number of projects, even creating a new project from my template - same problem. This used to work (at least somewhat).
I just tried creating a project from one of Logic's own included templates, however, and it works as you describe. Therefore it looks like my template (and all projects based on it) are corrupted. Could there be any other project-specific setting that is at fault? If not, is there any other way to make my projects behave?

If the Lists view Event List is open and the Link Window button is purple, you should be able to see Arrange window audio regions.
If not, then something is not right. Have you repaired permissions lately??? It might help.
Is this a recent issue that used to work fine???

Exactly - It's recent and it used to work fine. Not sure when it went wrong as I haven't used the Events list much in the past weeks. It's odd that seemingly all my projects (at least the half-dozen I have tried) exhibit this behavior, but it seems that my project template itself is to blame...That template (and these projects) did work fine before, though! Any idea how to fix said projects?

It certainly sounds like your template is corrupt. That means you'll need to reconstruct a new template from scratch, then trash to old one.
Regarding affected projects made with the corrupt template, you could open a new project with Logic's Empty template, hit F to open up the Browser. Navigate to one of your projects, then click Import at the bottom of Logic's Browser. I would then shift-click to select all tracks, then click in each column e.g. Content, Plug-ins, etc, then click Add at the bottom. This should import all of the elements of your project.
If this results in a project that functions properly, then save it, and repeat with the other corrupt projects.
