There was only one Audiowerk 8. The other one was the Audiowerk 2.

I don't think Apple "ditched" the old stuff, I think after 10 years of not shipping a computer that can handle an Audiowerk2/8 card (because all later PCI computers require 3.3V cards, while the Audiowerk2/8 are 5V cards), they simply cleaned up their webservers...

Chances are that nobody at Apple has them anymore. The Audiowerk8 was never sold via Apple and they probably only provided hosting space for the legacy drivers and updates after the Emagic homepage went down. At some point this stuff was cleaned up and is gone.
