Logic Pro 9 Automation for omnisphere

Hi, im trying to use automation to make parameter changes for Omnisphere. Ive go omni' working ok using 'enable host automation' however the only way I can record these changes is by recording in logic, the normal method of touch/write etc doesnt work . By recording in logic it records the automation fine but I cant see the changes to make any alterations. I dont have a problem getting logic AU's to touch / write etc these commands and edit accordingly.

Have just discovered can write / touch commands with mouse in play mode but cant get knobs on kybd to do this.
Also should prob mention use novation nocturn kybd with automap but at the mo I've quit automap as have read neg things about it and cant seem to get omni to assign commands to knobs if automap is on.

You have to use the Controller Assignment (CA) dialog to learn the parameters in question beforehand. The Spectroscopic products require to Enable Host Automation inside the product (you have done that) plus Logic Controller Assignment parameter learning to make it work.
I think I have already answered you in some other forum if you are the same guy...
