Logic Pro 9 AUTOMATION

If I automate the volume on, say a vocal track, then later remix the whole track and want to keep the automation but raise the overall level of the vocal, how do I do it folks? I am doing the automation using 'TOUCH' mode.

Insert a gain plug-in in your last insert, and adjust from that.... that is by far the easiest way I know of.

I like to trim the automation for the track, is easier for me than more plug-ins... Show automation for the track. To the right of the track name is a yellow bar that represents where the current volume is set. if you Command Click on this it wil raise or lower the automation for the whole track. tada!
