Logic Pro 9 Aux: Bounce In Place?

Hello, all -

While I am thrilled to have Bounce In Place in Logic for tracks, a question arises:

Is it possible to bounce an Aux using Bounce In Place?

Thus far, I can't find a way to do this. I've created a track in the arrange for an Aux, even tried putting a dummy region in the track (an audio file of silence). Still, both commans "Bounce Track In Place" and "Bounce Regions in Place" are greyed out.

You'd have to use the regular old Bounce feature to render an indirect source (a reverb return for example). Temporarily routing an AUX to a dummy physical output pair (and bouncing that) is the easiest I can think of. Of course, you need an audio interface with extra outputs to even have those show up.

Thank you for the info, zerobeat. That's what I was afraid of.
I was hoping there is a faster way to bounce all the various submix auxes in a project without having to temporarily re-route them....
