Logic Pro 9 Batch Bouncing Question and Click question

Hey guys,

I do a lot of work in logic where I record for other people who are doing full albums (they use me for guitars, loops and midi stuff). In the past I bounce all my parts out one track at a time and it takes forever! I found the export audio as files option but my problem is I need everything to start a beat one measure one. With export all it exports wherever that track starts.
Is there an option or way to batch bounce everything from beat one measure one?

Also how can I add a channel that controls the click?

Thanks for the help!

Josh

Add a bit of either a blank audio or midi region to each track, make sure you name each track properly, and make sure the normalize function is not on, in order to keep your levels where they are when you mix, not when Logic makes all the tracks as loud (full code is the name) as it can.

When you do it right, as long as you take a picture of your FX returns and send to duplicate that stuff (and bussed if you use them) you can recreate you mix without too much effort.

As for the click, I'd just make a new drum track (I use Studio Kit), make a new click track that way using midi to trigger the rim shot, get the velocity right so the downbeat is loud and the rest is, done! You can then turn off the click or do whatever you need.

Depending on what you want to do with the click, what I often do is go into the environment window (cmd-8), there you'll see a strip named click. You can assign the output to a bus and receive that bus either on a new aux track (created in the mixer window) or and audio track on input monitoring. That way, you can record/automate the logic click track.
