Logic Pro 9 Bounce in place for loops

New Member

I’ve searched and can’t find an answer to this but apologies if it’s been answered before!

I have some midi regions which I have looping enabled so I can easily loop the midi to a certain length. When I choose bounce in place it only bounces the initial part of the clip (the solid part not the semi-translucent looped part). In this instance looping the audio (a potential solution) doesn’t have the same effect as the audio that results from the looped midi clip originally.

Am I doing something wrong or is this intended behaviour?

What if you set the cycle markers to the entire length/region you want to bounce. Then instead of bouncing in place, solo the track and bounce project or section
