Hello again, i am having this little issue ...may be i am missing something or doing something wrong, sometime when i bounce a project the "bouncing" doesn't start at the beginning of the song but in different position, even if i place the playhead at the beginning... is it me doing something wrong...or not doing a step?

Thanks

Andrea

This should be in the FAQs.

The bounce position is not related to the playhead position (please see the documentation regarding this: Defining the Bounce Range)

My own method is to define a bounce by using the cycle function to set start and end locators. I think this is quite standard.

Also you can override either start or end position of the defined bounce range in the actual bounce dialogue box

Without the cycle set, i think a bounce would either be based on selected regions or the entire project length if nothing selected and no cycle, but
I may be wrong about that last bit, as I've never needed to use anything other than the cycle selection to define a bounce.

Andrea, if you have any regions selected in the Arrange area, they define the bounce range, so make sure you click in a blank area to deselect them.

To summarize what everyone has said:

An active cycle mode is king - bouncing is defined by that.

Second is selected region(s). To work cycle mode must be off.

Lastly, if neither of the above are in effect, the entire song should bounce.

And, you can always set the bounce range in the window.
