I had some strange things similar to that happening before, too. Bounces would go into the bounce folder of a previously opened song (even if the new one was already saved, obviously) for no apparent reason. The same happened to me with the "export region as audio" function ocassionally.
It's all back to the expected behaviour by now, though - without me having changed anything, so I'm not sure whether there's a cure for it. I simply suspect this to be a bug, related to whatever unknown circumstances.
