Logic Pro 9 Bouncing audio has sound in intro

Sometimes when I bounce the track starts off with the some tailend of reverb or the release of a sound. How can this be stopped

This is usually caused by certain 3rd party plugins.

What I do for a workaround is just wind to the end of the song, let the last couple of bars play and the reverb to die, then do the bounce.

I always make sure I have 2 bars at the top of each song so I can clear the audio buffer of any data... and it actually happens with Logic's plug-ins sometimes as well.

All of the above and I also find hitting return several times before hitting bounce clears the buffer of any audio tails.

Yes, this has been my experience as well. This is a good reason not to start your song right at bar 1. That way you can hit play and stop several times really quickly to clear the buffer.

This doesn't always work though, and when bouncing you may not want a bar of silence before the track starts.
