Logic Pro Breath controller use

Has anyone used a breath controller with LPX?

I have one by TEC which works well, and would like to use it as a Midi Instrument to control instruments within Logic, if possible.

For example, I have a sample instrument loaded into a track. Rather than use the midi keyboard, as usual, I'd like to use the breath controller.

At the moment, all I can do is alter the CC messages to manipulate volume, expression, etc.

Your breath controller cannot produce notes. You can send contiuous MIDI messages to instruments, effect plugins or hardware. You need something that produces the notes. In your case this is most likely your keyboard.
