Works here, with Solo alone as well as together with other functions.

Sorry for delay in replyimg - I've been away. Still no success - when I make a group and add Solo to the group settings it does not work. Mute and Auotomation functions work fine but no Solo. It's very frustrating. Do you have any ideas?

I've got it. Feel incredibly stupid but when you're buried in composing and it's late you can miss things. Here it is: I make a new group - I open group settings - the new group isn't automatically highlighted in the list of groups - if you don't highlight it you aren't adding Solo to the group you intended - ergo no Solo.
